Shaping a Human…
written by Rameen Ahmed…
I’ve been thinking a lot about how people learn and grow.
Some people never even go to school, yet their manners, behavior, and way of life feel so polished and beautiful. On the other hand, there are people who go through years of formal education, learn every subject, memorize every fact, yet their sense of respect, kindness, and moral values feels completely missing.
This made me realize something very important: school teaches us knowledge,
yes science, language, math, history, and all the subjects that shape our understanding of the world.
But it doesn’t teach us how to be good humans, how to respect others, or how to carry ourselves with dignity.
Those lessons, the lessons that actually shape a person’s heart, start at home.
A child observes their parents, their actions, their habits, and even the small choices they make every day.
That’s where learning about honesty, patience, respect, and kindness begins. The way parents behave, speak, and treat others silently teaches a child how to navigate life.
A person’s character is molded long before they enter the classroom.
So yes, school gave me knowledge, scientific understanding, and literacy, but tameez, ethics, and the journey of learning how to live well that came from home, from observing my parents, from seeing how they interacted with the world. And this is why some people, even without formal education, carry themselves with such grace, while some others, despite years of study, may lack basic respect or moral sense.
I think true learning is a combination: the world teaches us knowledge, but home teaches us humanity.
How a person grows, how they act, and what they become depends on the foundation they are given, the environment they are surrounded by, and the choices they make from what they observe.
To me, this is one of the deepest truths of life: schools shape minds, but homes shape souls.
…End…

That’s the truth. What we see, hear and do affects our mind and future. If someone is not equal to the other, that doesn’t make him bad. Because a child is like journal. It’s shape and respect depends what you feed it. All the morals comes from home. School teaches us the core of what real world is. And experiences shapes and sculpts the human! That was very interesting and true article. Appreciated!
